Today's lesson was fun, it involves a many types of apparatus(most liquids), such as Methyl Orange, Litmus Paper, which are new to me, I wonder why is it called Methyl Orange, what is 'Methyl'? I guess this lesson involves with the most types of liquids to be used in an experiment so far, this is considered Chemistry? ( Actually I don't quite know much on Chemistry yet, I heard other people saying its very hard...) During the experiments, as I said, there were many liquids to be used for identifying whether a liquid is Acidic, Alkaline or Neutral Substances( Why do we have to add the word 'Substance' yet others no need, by others, I mean the Acidic and Alkaline category.)by using Litmus Paper and Methyl Orange. To find out, we need to see what colour(Blue to red/Red to blue) the litmus paper will change to when put with a few drops of a liquid. A few drops of that liquid in a test tube and two drops of Methyl Orange(Using a dropper) too, observe the colour of the mixed up liquid in the test tube and see the colour it changes to, combining the both results will form an answer. ;)
